Woldingham is set within 700 acres of the most beautiful Surrey countryside providing space to explore, space to roam and space to think. The 19th century main building sits alongside purpose-built science labs, humanities and language hubs, studios for art, drama and music, and a 600-seat auditorium.
Not only is our location inspiring, we’re remarkably accessible. Direct trains reach the school in 25 minutes from Clapham Junction to the train station in the school grounds. The school bus service covers Surrey and Kent. It is less than three miles to the M25, only 30 minutes from Gatwick and 45 minutes from Heathrow.
Woldingham’s music and drama facilities are among the best of any school in the UK. We have fantastic indoor and outdoor sports facilities, modern science laboratories, amazing art studios and light and airy classrooms. With such beautiful grounds, staff use our outdoor space as much as possible for teaching and learning.
New Sixth Form Centre and Library
Woldingham's new Sixth Form Centre and Library opened in September 2024. The new building provides innovative and vibrant spaces for students across all years, with dedicated areas in the Sixth Form Centre for older students as they make the important transition from school to university, developing careers as lifelong, empowered learners.
Woldingham’s Millennium Centre is the heart of the school’s performance space. Our 630-seater acoustically designed Dineen Auditorium includes an orchestra pit and industry standard sound and lighting system. The Millennium Centre also has recital and rehearsal rooms, a wardrobe room, dressing rooms and a studio theatre.
Woldingham has excellent sports facilities including a sports centre with a large sports hall, two squash courts, fitness studio and a dance/gymnastics studio. We have extensive outdoor courts and pitches, an indoor tennis dome, an indoor swimming pool and an all-weather pitch.
Woldingham’s purpose built science block was extensively refurbished in 2015. The two storey building has nine dedicated and well-equipped laboratory classrooms for biology, chemistry and physics.
The art studio is the perfect place to inspire our students’ creativity. The light-filled studios are exceptionally well-resourced whether students want to paint, draw, produce ceramics or create bespoke prints and textiles.

Woldingham has a wide range of teaching spaces and classrooms. We have dedicated labs for languages and IT and well-equipped and light and airy classrooms. There are plenty of dedicated areas for quiet study, including a well-stocked library.
The school’s chapel is a wonderful space for celebrating Mass, as well as for quiet contemplation and reflection. The chapel has beautiful stained-glass windows and a new bespoke altar built in 2019 by one of our craftsmen. As a Catholic school the chapel is used regularly for services led by our Chaplain, Fr Gerry Devlin.
We take our role as custodians of 700 acres of the most beautiful Surrey countryside and historic buildings extremely seriously.
