Famous – yet surprisingly familiar – faces filled the school Chapel and Marden dining room on Wednesday evening as Barat House celebrated Mass and enjoyed an Icons-themed feast, organised by House Captains Amy (Buzz Lightyear) and Sofia (Woody), and Head of House Mme Maillot (Céline Dion).
Led by Fr Gerry, Mass celebrated the life of House Patron – and Society of the Sacred Heart founder – St Madeleine Sophie Barat, with music from Barat’s many talented musicians and readings from the House Captains.
Marden dining room was decked out in yellow and gold for a feast that was accompanied by some iconic songs (no doubt including tunes from Mme Maillot’s alter ego for the evening), and some fun icon-related quizzes for all.
Decisions on who to award prizes for best costumes must have been very tricky to make - see which icons you can spot in the main photo and those below.
