New Ribbons team begins year of service with excitement and confidence

24 April 2024

With the start of the summer term, Woldingham’s 2024-25 Ribbons have begun their year of leadership and service. Our new team of Ribbons, led by Head Girl Onome and Deputy Head Girls Anjali, Feranmi and Poppy, received their sashes of office – and a very warm welcome - at the end of term assembly in March, where the outgoing Ribbons team of Alison, Immy, Lara, Georgie, Cherry, Mineh, Isabella, Isabel, Fleur, Olivia, Yakira, Sophie D, Isabelle, Amy, Sofia, Milly, Jemima, Martha, Chloe, Belle and Sophie W were thanked for their wonderful year of service.

New Head Girl Onome said: “Being Woldingham’s Head Girl is a huge privilege and I will be eternally grateful to the school for trusting me with this position. I am surrounded by such an amazing group of Ribbons. The team and I will work hard to bring success and joy to the school. I am beyond excited to see what lies ahead and ready to help students flourish in all aspects of their life, to ensure their Woldingham journeys are something to cherish for a lifetime. At our Ribbons team conference on Friday 19 April, we delved deeply into the responsibilities and expectations of Woldingham Ribbons. Seeing the way everyone interacted and engaged gave me great confidence that the year ahead will be an incredible one.”
