Hard work and dedication paid off as our Year 8 athletes achieved an impressive third place out of 15 school teams at the District Championships on Wednesday 19 June. Determination, strength, speed and stamina were on full display on track and field during this excellent collective achievement, which included top three finishes in one or more events for four members of the team:
Odette B: 3rd in javelin
Daisy L: 1st in 1500m, 2nd in 800m
Isla M: 2nd in high jump
Amaya S: 3rd in shot put
