It was a pleasure to host Upper Sixth parents for lunch on Friday 11 October. The sun shone as we gave our guests a tour of the Sixth Form Centre and new Library, showing off this fantastic new facility in its very best light, to lots of impressed and enthusiastic comments.
There was lots of chatter as parents enjoyed lunch with members of the Sixth Form staff team in their daughters’ final year at Woldingham. The other purpose of the event was to demonstrate the positive impact of our Woldingham bursary programme and invite families whose daughters will leave next summer to make a gift of their deposit to the Jayne Triffitt bursary fund so that young women who want to follow in our Upper Sixth girls’ footsteps can also enjoy the benefits of a Woldingham education. We watched a video of a former Woldingham Head Girl explaining the impact a bursary has had on her life, which was very moving.
