Toni and Florrie, Barat House Captains
On Thursday 13 March, Barat House enjoyed a fun feast full of vibrant colours inspired by 70s disco, with everyone dressed up in neon and glow in the dark outfits.
The evening began with Mass, organised by Andrea and Fr Gerry, with music from Barat musicians Lilico, Fiona, Seren, Katy, Elizabeth, Ava and Eliza. Olympia sang the psalm, Caitin and Zarina performed a duet of the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, and Bebe played the drums for our last hymn, Shine Jesus Shine, making an uplifting end to Mass with everyone clapping along.
Afterwards, we gathered in Marden for our feast, enjoying delicious chicken burgers and fries followed by chocolate brownie and ice cream. To end the night, we all played Barat Bingo, which was a huge success with very friendly competition between teachers and students. We loved spending the evening together as a House and hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.
