At the end of April, a group of Mathematics students from Years 7 and 8 participated in the UK Mathematics Trust: Junior Individual Challenge, a nationwide competition full of lively and intriguing problem solving questions. Woldingham achieved excellent results and we were thrilled that so many girls achieved certificates. Caitlin, Year 7, was the highest scoring student in the school and also qualified for the ‘Kangaroo’ round, which only 3% qualify for nationwide; this will be held on 11 June. All the students were delighted with their achievements.
