It was a delight to welcome our Year 7 grandparents to our annual Grandparents’ Tea on Friday 14 June. The weather was rather cool and cloudy compared to the last couple of years, but this did not stop the smiles and laughter of our cream tea together.
Year 7 gave their grandparents a tour of the school, followed by a performance of two songs from their upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; this was followed by a moving and powerful Lion King medley, performed by some girls in Years 7-9 and students from the Orpheus Centre. It is always a real pleasure to welcome our guests to such an occasion; as I heard one grandparent say, “Complete magic”!
