On the last Friday of term, the Woldingham community gathered to celebrated the numerous and varied achievements of Years 7 to 9 over the past academic year, both in and out of the classroom. Woldingham’s Chair of Governors, Mr Robert Parkinson, presented the many well-earned prizes and everyone enjoyed reliving two of the year’s fantastic drama productions, with excerpts from Year 7’s Joseph And The Technicolor Dreamcoat and Junior Production, The Black Knot. In addition, a number of girls showcased their skills and passions through talks, demonstrations and performances: Daisy and Amy (sailing); Lily (Acapella Choir); Olivia (Hockey); Emma (Tae Kwon Do); Oliva (singing own composition); Jessie (horse riding).
Woldingham’s outgoing Head Girl Team – Lily, Becky, Morayo and Taisie – gave our younger students some valuable words of wisdom from their time at Woldingham before proceedings in the auditorium drew to a conclusion with a fun look back at many of the year’s highlights, in our ‘Year in the Life of Woldingham’ video. The celebrations continued a little longer, however, with drinks on Pergola Lawn.
