Woldingham is proud of the wide range of lunchtime and after-school clubs offered to students, covering sports and physical recreation, performing arts and visual arts and both academic and personal enrichment. “ClubsFest”, which takes place early in the autumn term, usually sees a throng of students in Main House finding more about what’s on offer from teachers and Sixth Formers. Like so many other aspects of school life, ClubsFest took a different form this year with students watching a video in tutor time on Friday 11 September about the different activities that will be taking place. While some clubs are aimed at specific year group bubbles, students of all ages can express their interest in others, which will run for one year group bubble at a time.
New clubs on offer include Mrs Manktelow’s Horrible Histories for Years 7 & 8 and Mr Maunder’s Woldingham News aimed at Year 10. These join everything from Board Games to Dance Choreography, Life Drawing to Archery and Creative Writing to Science Discussion.
