Congratulations to the 25 students awarded certificates in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge, particularly the four recipients of gold certificates, Year 8s Fleur, Waishe and Caitlin J, and Caitlin P in Year 9.
The students were in Years 7 and 8 respectively when they undertook the Challenge towards the end of the summer term. It was postponed from April due to the COVID lockdown and adapted as an online only test that students could take remotely. What didn’t change was the excellent test of mathematical reasoning and precision of thought that the 60-minute Challenge offered.
