Ms Kerri Fox is to join Woldingham School in April 2021 as the school’s new Senior Deputy Head. She will report to Woldingham Head, Dr James Whitehead, and deputise for him and be the senior member of staff with special responsibility for pastoral care, safeguarding, and student and staff welfare. Joining her in April 2021 will be Dr Jessica Dixon who will become Woldingham’s new Head of Classics.
Ms Fox’s most recent role was as Senior Deputy Head at Our Lady’s Abingdon. Previous posts include Deputy Head Pastoral at Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh and Director of External Relations at Wycombe Abbey School, where she was previously Head of Sixth Form. Ms Fox was educated at St Mary’s School in Cambridge and has a degree in Theology and Religious Studies from Cambridge University. She also has a degree in Modern Languages and is currently studying for an MA in Catholic School Leadership at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. A practising Roman Catholic, she enjoys gym fitness, walking, travelling and reading. She has also served as a Senior Examiner for OCR and as a Safeguarding & SEND governor at a school in Buckinghamshire.
Dr Jessica Dixon has been appointed as Woldingham’s Head of Classics from Summer Term 2021. Dr Dixon has been teaching at The London Oratory School since 2015. She previously taught at Merchant Taylors’ School in Liverpool and Oldham Hulme Grammar School in Manchester. She also taught undergraduates while studying for her PhD in Classics and Ancient History at Manchester University. She has a First Class degree and a Masters with Distinction from Liverpool University. Dr Dixon is a Catholic with a love of sport and the outdoors. She is experienced in running Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programmes and regularly runs, cycles, plays netball and practices yoga. She also sings with the London Philharmonic Choir.
