We’re delighted at our students’ success in the 2021 UKMT Intermediate Mathematic Challenge Online, which students sat on 1 February. Thirteen students received Gold certificates, awarded for a score of 86% or above:

Congratulations to Ploychompoo, Year 9, for qualifying for the Cayley Olympiad and to Year 11s Anna W and Wendy Q for qualifying for the Maclaurin Olympiad, both of which will take place later this month.
Well done too to the 18 students who received a silver certificate and the 27 who gained bronze.
The Intermediate Challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice competition, which encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. If you’d like to test yourself against the paper our students sat, click here.
