Miss Alison May, Teacher of PE

On Wednesday 9 June the Year 7 athletics team took part in the Croydon High School Under 12 competition against Archbishop Tenison’s, Coloma and Croydon High, representing Woldingham in athletics for the first time.

There were some tremendous results and performances by all our athletes, despite the hot afternoon sun!

The top results for Woldingham’s students were:

100m 1^st Shaila N - 14.23 sec; 4^th Kayra M - 14.74 sec

800m 1^st Mia C - 3min 01

1500m 4^th Iggy W - 6min 38 secs; 6^th Lottie R - 6min 50 secs

High Jump 2^nd Eliska S - 1.30m

Long Jump 2^nd Shaila N - 3.83m

Discus 5^th Scarlett C - 13.54m

Shot Putt 4^th Jemima D - 6.10m; 5^th Zia H - 6.05m

Javelin 4^th Boo H - 12.90m; 5^th Amelia C - 12.80m
