Staff, students and their families (including four-legged members) gathered in sunshine on Saturday 23 April to enjoy the WPSA sponsored walk. Starting and ending at Shanley, the picturesque 5k route meandered through woods full of beautiful bluebells and afforded amazing views from the North Downs Way.
After around an hour of walking, and lots of chatting, WPSA greeted everyone at the finish line with refreshments and plenty of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. All money raised from donations, sponsorship and doughnut sales will be split equally between the Laini Saba School in Kenya and the Woldingham School bursary programme.
With everyone encouraged to wear House colours, congratulations go to the Mair family for winning best-dressed team, supporting Barat in yellow. Year 7 team Maria, Blanca, Kewa, Laura and Ella won a prize for the most enthusiastic student group and Margot Arnold triumphed as best-dressed dog, supporting Duchesne in a stylish red pompom jacket.
