Music scholars look forward to a busy year of events and performances

28 September 2022

Miss Ruth Wang, Teacher of Music

On Thursday 22 September the Music Department held a dinner for our music scholars to celebrate the start of the new academic year. It was a delightful opportunity for existing and new scholars to get to know one another and for them to feel part of our music community.

Music scholars are the pillars of the Music Department. As well as bringing talent and commitment to music at Woldingham, they play a valuable role in supporting and encouraging Woldingham’s many other student musicians. Between them our music scholars’ specialist instruments are piano, flute, violin, cello, clarinet, bassoon, tenor horn, percussion and voice. We hope many members of the Woldingham community will join us to hear them play at our Scholars’ Concert on Thursday 13 October – the first in a series of exciting events and performances planned for our scholars this academic year.
