Students have been enjoying both new menus and the redecorated servery area this half term, following Holroyd Howe's start as Woldingham’s new catering partner.
The new menus have been going down well, with a wider range of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the ever-popular salad bar and dessert selection at lunchtimes. Supper options this week included a traditional chicken pie and fruit crumble on Tuesday followed by a Greek-themed menu, which included moussaka and spanakopita.
There has been a positive reaction to the servery area, which was updated over the summer with a country kitchen theme and reorganised so there are fewer queues at peak times.
New feedback forms introduced over the last two weeks are enabling Holroyd Howe to make adjustments and changes as it continues to listen to students and reduce waste, which is an important part of our environmental sustainability plans.
Menus are available on the school website and on the new screens in the entrance area meaning students can make their choices before heading into the servery.
