Upper Sixth students develop important career skills at networking breakfast

16 November 2022

Over breakfast on Tuesday 8 November, Upper Sixth students in Duchesne and Stuart met guests, including Woldingham parents and alumnae, with a wealth of experience in law, retail, financial services, HR, catering management, marketing and international arbitration.  With our experts moving to a new table every 15 minutes, not only did the students learn about a range of sectors, some of which may have been new to them, but they also had the opportunity to practise active listening, interpersonal and communication skills with a variety of professional people. Proficiency in these and other networking skills are crucial for Woldingham students to thrive in their future careers. Our networking breakfasts give them the opportunity to develop networking skills and build their confidence in a familiar, supportive environment.

Thank you to our guests - Irene Bloomfield, Eloisa Cackett, Mark Kibblewhite, Camilla Macpherson, Kate Stovold and Sally Yates - for supporting Woldingham students in their career development.

Upper Sixth students in Barat and Digby will enjoy their networking breakfast on Tuesday 29 November.
