Mrs Tania Carrilero, International Student Coordinator
Each year Woldingham holds an International Evening to celebrate the many different cultures and backgrounds of our boarding community. This year, International Ribbon Alisa and our international reps organised a fabulous event, where students from a range of countries took to the auditorium stage to share part of their culture with friends. The audience was incredibly supportive and keen to show their enjoyment of every single performer.
In a fantastic and very diverse collection of acts from students in all year groups, we had the pleasure of amazing K-pop choreography, classical Chinese instruments, traditional Japanese dances and a song in Spanish from boarders from Spain and Mexico. What makes the International Evening such a special event is that all students feel welcome to perform, regardless of their confidence on stage and their level of skill, which brings everybody together.
