New student magazine offers Woldingham’s younger writers a chance to pursue their passion for literature

Our newest school magazine is The Literary Wold Junior Edition, which gives Woldingham’s younger students a platform to express their opinions on important topics. Not only does our first issue feature elements tailored to a younger demographic (such as age-appropriate book recommendations, a fun quiz and an adorable mascot called Moo-cbeth), but we also hope it will inspire Woldingham’s young writers to pursue their passion for literature.

The theme of the first issue of The Literary Wold Junior Edition is ‘Our World’. Its content covers a wide variety of issues, from poems discussing the negative effects of climate change to advice about how we can live more sustainably. The sheer number of submissions we received proves how determined Woldingham students are to make a positive contribution. Please keep up the good work.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this issue, which you can read here. I and my fellow Upper Sixth editors Kayleigh and Aashvi hope you really enjoy it.
