Our art trip to Paris last weekend was an adventure that left us feeling grateful for art and culture, and sparked creativity within us.

Our visit began with a great boat ride along the Seine, spotting many of Paris’s renowned landmarks. We were inspired by Auguste Rodin's creations at the remarkable Rodin Museum. Seeing masterpieces such as 'The Thinker' and 'The Kiss' up close was an incredible experience and an honour.

The Centre Pompidou, a museum of modern art and design, exposed us to a great variety of avant-garde styles. The range of art we viewed encouraged us to think independently and recognise how aesthetic communication is ever evolving. Inspired, we sketched interpretations of the art we saw in our sketchbooks to have something tangible to take home with us.

Returning home, we’ve brought back not just memories but also a newfound appreciation for the world around us and a passion for exploring further the wonders of art and culture.
