Sixth Form mathematicians have done themselves proud in recent challenges organised by the UK Maths Trust (UKMT). Zuzanna, Luyi and Annie (main photo) achieved gold awards in the Senior Mathematical Challenge and have been invited to participate in the follow-up round, the Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo. Woldingham students also secured nine silver and 16 bronze awards in the Senior Mathematical Challenge.
In the UKMT Mathematical Olympiad for Girls five students – Yuting, Andrea, Anna, Harriet and Jessica (pictured below) – were awarded merits. Congratulations to them and all our students who applied themselves so well in these stretching challenges.
