Our ‘empowered learning’ philosophy has been developed from over 180 years’ experience of educating girls. This student focused, teacher-led approach, inspires a love of learning, develops independent thinking and nurtures each girl as an individual.
Girls at Woldingham achieve. In 2024, 51% of A Level grades were A*/A with 72% of STEM subject grades A*/A, which secured places for 83% of students at their first choice of university.
At GCSE, 31% of all grades were 9s and our ‘value added’ outcomes showed an average increase of a whole grade across every subject when compared with the students’ entry point predictions.
From September 2025, girls in Years 7 and 8 will follow the Marden Diploma, a bespoke programme for these important year groups. The Marden Diploma is designed to be holistic, academically rigorous and inspiring, equipping students with the skills to flourish at Woldingham and giving them an excellent foundation to tackle the challenges of GCSE from Year 9.
Woldingham is committed to meeting the academic stretch of every student. We offer a range of programmes and initiatives to provide stretch for our academic scholars and high-achievers, which support them to grow, fulfil their academic potential and take up places at top universities.
